1 ton of washing powder without an Arabic label was seized in Tubas Governorate

Ramallah - 10/9/2024 During inspection tours of shops and markets: The Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authority in the Ministry of National Economy, seized today, Tuesday, in Tubas Governorate, more than 1 ton of laundry powder; due to the lack of a statement card in Arabic on it that clarifies all the basic data, such as: (expiry date, country of origin, ingredients, storage method, product name, etc.).

In view of this, the competent authority decided to seize the quantity and refer the case to the Public Prosecution - Economic Crimes Prosecution to complete the legal procedures in accordance with the rules

In the same context, during inspection tours of shops and markets: The Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authority in the Ministry of National Economy, seized today, Tuesday, in Tubas Governorate, about 200 packages of tile freshener that were unfit for use; due to the expiry of their expiry date, as their use may result in major health risks to citizens.

In view of this, the competent authority decided to destroy the quantity in healthy and safe ways and complete the legal procedures in accordance with the rules
