The Customs Police Department dealt with 49 cases during the past week in cooperation with partner agencies

The Customs Police Department dealt with 49 cases during the past week in cooperation with partner agencies, most notably as follows:
28 cases in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance with the aim of improving state revenues and providing the treasury with funds, during which the following were dealt with:
- 20 tax and customs cases and transferring taxpayers to the ministry.
- One case of goods coming from Israel that do not carry a clearing invoice.
- 7 cases in the field of smuggled and banned tobacco.
19 cases in cooperation with the Ministries of National Economy and Health to prevent the spread of illegal goods and settlement goods and protect the food health of citizens, most notably:
- About 419 kg of expired food items were seized and destroyed.
- 1 ton of food items and cleaning materials that violated the instructions and were handed over to the competent authorities.
- 60 packages of banned sexual stimulants were handed over to the competent authorities.
Two cases in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture:
- During which a quantity of agricultural pesticides was seized upon a request from the Ministry and delivered to the competent authorities.
