Ramallah - 10/8/2024 The Public Relations and Media Department of the Customs Officer gave an awareness lecture to students of Al-Tira Women's Community College affiliated with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), today, Tuesday, in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, from which (60) male and female students benefited.
The lecture aimed to introduce them to the nature of the officer's work in protecting the national economy, combating tax evasion and customs smuggling, and combating illegal goods, and to emphasize the need to submit reports in the event of detecting any illegal products in the markets, by contacting the toll-free number (132) or through the officer's social media sites.
This lecture is the beginning of a series of lectures that will be held at the college for all students of various specializations and years of study during the coming period.
At the end of the lecture, the floor was opened for discussion and dialogue and answering students' questions and inquiries regarding the topic of the lecture, amidst lively interaction among the students.
