Ramallah_10/9/2024 The Director of the Customs Police in Jericho and the Jordan Valley Governorate, Lieutenant Colonel/Tareq Wahish, received today, Wednesday, His Excellency the Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley Governorate, Dr. Hussein Hamayel, at the headquarters of the agency in the governorate. This visit comes within the framework of discussing joint cooperation and discussing related issues between the two sides.

During the meeting, the continuous efforts made by the Customs Police Department in combating the smuggling of settlement dates and protecting the Palestinian product were discussed, in addition to the agency's commitment to monitoring the local market and protecting it from smuggled, spoiled, counterfeit products, and products that violate Palestinian specifications and standards.
For his part, His Excellency the Governor Dr. Hamayel praised the great efforts made by the Customs Police Department, stressing the importance of its role in protecting the Palestinian economy and preserving the safety of local products.
