Ramallah_10/22/2024 The Customs Police Department, represented by the Director of the Hebron Directorate, Lieutenant Colonel/ Nidal Al-Saifi, participated today, Tuesday, in the Executive Council meeting of Hebron Governorate, which was headed by the Governor of Hebron, Brother/ Khaled Dudin, and which was held at the Governorate House, in the presence of a number of directors of the security establishment, and governmental bodies and institutions.
The meeting discussed the general situation in the governorate and the challenges facing governmental institutions in light of the difficult circumstances, including checkpoints and ongoing violations by the Israeli occupation, and ways to enhance services provided to citizens. The emergency plan for the winter season prepared by the Civil Defense was also reviewed, in addition to security efforts to reduce the phenomenon of "intrusion" and illegal financial collection.
In turn, Lieutenant Colonel/ Nidal Al-Saifi stressed the role of the Customs Police in the governorate in maintaining economic security and confronting attempts at tax evasion and customs smuggling, pointing out the importance of joint cooperation between governmental institutions to enhance security and stability in the governorate.
