Ramallah - 3/11/2024 During inspection tours of shops and markets: The Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authority in the Ministry of Health, seized today, Sunday, in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, more than half a ton of fruit (coconut) unfit for consumption; due to the appearance of signs indicating its corruption, as eating it may result in major health risks to consumers, and the competent authority decided to destroy it.
In another context, the authority seized, in cooperation with the competent authority in the Ministry of National Economy, a quantity of expired food supplies that were unfit for consumption, and in view of this, the competent authority decided to destroy the quantity in healthy and safe ways and complete the legal procedures properly.
In a separate context, the authority participated in the Palestinian Products Day event in Ramallah and Al-Bireh to support and promote the national product.
