Ramallah_11/28/2024 During inspection tours of markets and shops: The Customs Police, in cooperation with the Public Safety Committee and the Police Department, seized today, Thursday, in Hebron Governorate, more than (1) ton of food items unfit for human consumption; due to the expiration of their expiration date, which poses a risk to the health of consumers. The competent authorities approved the destruction of the seized quantity in healthy and safe ways and the completion of legal procedures in accordance with the rules.
In the same context, about (1) ton and a quarter of food items were seized; without a statement card in Arabic that clarifies all the basic data, such as: (expiration date, country of origin, ingredients, storage method, product name, etc.), and therefore the quantity was seized until the necessary legal procedures are completed.
