Ramallah_ 15/12/2024 The Customs Police Department in Jericho Governorate participated in receiving His Excellency the Minister of National Economy Eng. Muhammad Al-Amour and His Excellency the Minister of Industry Mr. Arafat Asfour, today, Sunday, at the Governorate House, during an official visit aimed at reviewing the needs of factories and economic institutions in the governorate.

For his part, Dr. Hussein Hamayel reviewed the general situation of the governorate, addressing the economic and commercial aspects, and the challenges facing the industrial and commercial sectors.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Governor praised the efforts made by the Customs Police, especially in controlling spoiled dates in cooperation with the competent authorities and security services, stressing the importance of this role in protecting the health of citizens and supporting the national economy.

This visit comes within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation between government agencies and economic sectors, and working to develop local industries in a way that contributes to achieving sustainable development for Jericho Governorate.
