Ramallah - 12/16/2024 The Customs Police Department, in cooperation with the Political and National Guidance, provided awareness lectures to students of Bidya Girls Elementary School and Haris Boys Secondary School, today, Monday, in Salfit Governorate, from which (100) male and female students benefited.
This came within the program of the police to spread awareness of the nature of its work, role and tasks in protecting markets, combating tax evasion and customs smuggling, and combating illegal goods, and emphasizing the necessity of submitting reports in the event of detecting any illegal products in the markets, by contacting the toll-free number (132) or via the social media sites of the Customs Police Department.
In another context, the Customs Police Department participated today, Monday, in the medical day organized by the Salfit Governorate and the Ministry of Health in cooperation with the Education Directorate at Yasuf Sakaka Girls Secondary School in Salfit Governorate, from which (100) female students benefited.
The event included awareness lectures for students of Yasouf Sakaka Girls Secondary School. The lecture aimed to introduce them to the role of the apparatus and its assigned tasks in combating spoiled and illegal goods, settlement goods, and smuggling in all its forms, as well as introducing them to how to communicate with the apparatus to report spoiled, smuggled, or illegal goods; by calling the toll-free number (132) or via the apparatus's official page on the social networking site (Facebook). In a separate context, the Customs Police Department, represented by its director, Major Saed Jibril, participated in the solidarity stand organized by the governorate, in the presence of official, security, and civil figures, in support of our people in the Gaza Strip and to emphasize the unity of the national ranks. This stand came to express solidarity with the suffering of the Palestinian people in Gaza, and to enhance the role of the Palestinian security services in establishing order and law, in a national message that emphasizes the importance of solidarity in facing current challenges.
