Ramallah_12/24/2024 Today, Tuesday, the Customs Police participated in an inspection tour of markets and shops, including vegetable sellers and street vendors in Jericho Governorate. The tour was attended by His Excellency the Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Dr. Hussein Hamayel, and the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Tayseer Al-Yassini.
The tour aimed to ensure that traders adhere to the laws and instructions regulating their work, especially with regard to implementing public safety conditions, clearly announcing prices, and committing to providing high-quality products according to local specifications.
His Excellency the Governor, Dr. Hussein Hamayel, stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the competent authorities and traders to ensure the protection of consumer rights, stressing the need for everyone to adhere to quality and transparency standards in a way that serves citizens and contributes to strengthening the local economy.
