Ramallah_12/1/2024 The Director of the Customs Police in Bethlehem Governorate, Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Karim Basaytah, received in his office today, Tuesday, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Palestine Ahliya University, Dr. Daoud Al-Zeir, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides.

This meeting comes to enhance the partnership and integration between the Customs Police and academic institutions to serve the national interest. It also comes within the efforts of the Customs Police to consolidate cooperation with various national sectors, in a way that supports economic and social development.

Lieutenant Colonel Basaytah welcomed Sheikh Al-Zeir and his accompanying delegation, conveying the greetings of the Commander of the Customs Police, Major General Iyad Barakat, stressing the importance of enhancing cooperation with the university in areas that serve the community.

For his part, Dr. Al-Zeir praised the prominent role of the Customs Police in protecting the national economy, supporting local products, and encouraging investment, stressing the university's readiness to contribute to any joint initiatives that enhance this trend.
