Ramallah_13/1/2025 The Customs Police Department, represented by the Director of the Nablus Directorate, Colonel/ Fadi Abu Al-Qarn, organized an inspection tour of markets and shops in Balata Camp in Nablus Governorate today, Monday. The tour was attended by His Excellency the Governor of Nablus, Brother/ Ghassan Daghlas, the Director General of the Ministry of National Economy in Nablus Governorate, Dr. Bashar Al-Saifi, the Director of Nablus Health, Dr. Ramez Dweikat, the Head of the Popular Committee for Balata Camp Services, Brother/ Imad Zaki, and representatives of national and community institutions and activities in Balata Camp
The tour aimed to enhance community awareness of the importance of combating spoiled and smuggled goods, and to ensure that markets are free of materials that may pose a threat to the health and safety of citizens. The tour included inspecting shops, educating merchants and citizens about the dangers of trading spoiled or smuggled goods, and emphasizing adherence to the laws and instructions regulating product safety.
The participants in the tour stressed the importance of concerted efforts between official and community bodies to preserve the health and safety of citizens and promote a safe and clean economic environment within the markets.
