Customs police Distribute Juices and Sweets to Travelers Stranded at Jericho Rest House

Ramallah_16/1/2025 In light of the severe congestion witnessed at Jericho Rest House due to the travel crisis and the delay of a large number of travelers from leaving the crossing, the Customs Officers Directorate in Jericho Governorate, in cooperation with the Crossings Administration of the Authority, and in coordination with the Crossings and Borders Administration, distributed juices and sweets to travelers stranded at the crossing, who were unable to travel today due to the congestion.
This step comes within the framework of the community role of the Customs Officers and its efforts to alleviate the suffering of citizens, especially in light of the increasing pressure on the crossing, which is a main gateway linking the West Bank and Jordan.
This humanitarian initiative was well received by travelers, in addition to the praise of the Crossings and Borders Administration and the Governorate, who expressed their appreciation for these efforts that reflect the Authority's keenness to ease the burden on citizens and provide them with the necessary support in light of the difficult circumstances.
