Ramallah_26/1/2025 The Director of the Customs Police in Salfit Governorate, Lieutenant Colonel Saed Jabril, and the accompanying delegation, met today, Sunday, with His Excellency the Governor of Salfit, Brother Mustafa Taqatqa, in his office at the Governorate House, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides.
During the meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Jabril stressed the importance of the partnership with Salfit Governorate and its supportive role in enabling the Customs Police to perform its duties to the fullest extent. He pointed out the need to continue cooperation to achieve common goals that serve citizens and protect the national economy.
In turn, His Excellency the Governor, Brother Taqatqa, praised the national role played by the Customs Police in confronting the challenges imposed by the occupation, appreciating its outstanding efforts in protecting Palestinian markets from the dangers of smuggled and spoiled goods. He stressed the need to enhance cooperation between various institutions to limit the spread of products coming from settlements, in a way that ensures the protection of the Palestinian consumer and supports the national economy.
