Ramallah_11/2/2025 The Commander of the Customs Police Service, Major General Iyad Barakat, received today, Tuesday, the Turkish Ambassador accredited to the State of Palestine, Ismail Coban Oglu, accompanied by the Director General of the Turkish Cultural Center, Cengiz Ar Oglu, at the headquarters of the Service in Ramallah.

During the meeting, the Ambassador was briefed on the role of the Customs Police Service and its tasks in cooperation with various ministries to protect the Palestinian economy. The two sides also discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the Palestinian Customs Police Service and the Turkish Customs Service, including signing a memorandum of understanding in the fields of development and training.
Ambassador Oglu expressed his thanks to Major General Barakat for the invitation, stressing the follow-up of the requirements presented and direct communication with the Service to ensure the achievement of common goals.
