Ramallah_25/2/2025 The Customs Police Department, in cooperation with partner agencies, organized an inspection tour of the markets and shops in Jericho Governorate today, Tuesday, with the aim of monitoring the availability of basic commodities, ensuring that traders adhere to the approved standards, and preventing monopoly and price manipulation, especially with the approach of the holy month of Ramadan.

The tour was attended by His Excellency the Governor of Jericho, Brother Hussein Hamayel, Director of the Customs Police Directorate, Lieutenant Colonel Tariq Wahish, and Director of the General Intelligence Directorate, Brigadier General Muhammad Abu Hadid, in addition to representatives of partner agencies and the Chamber of Commerce.
Governor Hamayel stressed the importance of these tours in enhancing market control and consumer protection, stressing the need for concerted efforts between the concerned parties to ensure a fair and balanced commercial environment that meets the needs of citizens.
