Ramallah - March 12, 2025. During evening inspections of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authorities at the Ministry of Health, seized large quantities of meat and poultry unfit for human consumption this evening, Wednesday, in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate. The meat showed signs of spoilage and emitted a foul odor. Consuming it could pose significant health risks to consumers.
Given this, the competent authorities decided to destroy the quantity in a safe and healthy manner, and to complete the necessary legal procedures.
