Ramallah - March 18, 2025: Based on information shared with the Ministry of Health, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authority at the Ministry of Health, seized a large quantity of spoiled and expired food. Approximately 6 tons of these materials were found in a commercial store and its warehouse in the governorate, early Tuesday morning.
The competent authority decided to destroy the seized quantity and refer the case to the Anti-Economic Crimes Prosecution Office to complete the legal procedures.
The Customs Police Office affirms its continued efforts to protect citizens' health and ensure the safety of products circulating in the market, in cooperation with partner agencies. It calls on citizens to report any illegal cases via the toll-free number (132).
