Banned Plastic Beads Seized in Nablus Governorate

Ramallah - March 30, 2025. Based on accurate information, the Customs Police seized 100 pieces of banned plastic bead toys at dawn on Sunday from a store in Nablus Governorate.
This step comes as part of efforts to protect the health and safety of children, given the potential harm these toys can cause. The seized items have been impounded pending the arrival of the competent authority from the Ministry of National Economy to complete the required legal procedures.
The Police urges citizens not to trade, sell, or promote these toys and urges them to report anyone selling them by calling the toll-free number (132).
The Police also confirms its continued monitoring and prosecution of sellers of these toys and to hold them accountable in accordance with legal procedures.
