Ramallah, April 10, 2025: As part of the joint security efforts to protect our national economy, the Customs Police, with support from the security establishment and in cooperation with the competent authority at the Ministry of National Economy, seized today, Thursday, approximately 700 kg of food and supplies unfit for human consumption inside a warehouse in Qalqilya Governorate. These supplies had expired and could pose significant health risks to consumers if consumed.

Consequently, the competent authority at the Ministry of National Economy approved the safe and healthy destruction of the seized quantities and the completion of legal procedures.

The Customs Police urges citizens to report smuggled, spoiled, or counterfeit goods, as well as price manipulation and monopoly, by calling the toll-free number 132 or via the Customs Police's official Facebook page.
