Ramallah_5/14/2025: Customs officers, while working at a checkpoint in the Hebron Governorate, seized a truck carrying more than 7 tons of lemons and avocados without an agricultural transport permit on Wednesday.
After summoning the competent authority at the Agriculture Directorate, the latter decided to seize the quantity and refer the case to the Economic Crimes Prosecution to complete the necessary legal procedures.
In another context, and based on information, Customs officers seized approximately 30 plastic beaded toys and 12 kilograms of beads inside a commercial store south of Hebron on Wednesday. These beads are prohibited from circulation in the Palestinian market due to the harm they cause to children.
Consequently, the seized items were kept in custody pending the arrival of the competent authority and the completion of legal procedures.
