Customs Police Participate in Special Committee Meeting to Monitor Encroachments on Electricity and Water Networks

Ramallah – June 29, 2025. A delegation from the Customs Police, including the Director of the Anti-Corruption and Inspection Department, Colonel Lutfi Abu Nasser, and the Director of the Customs Intelligence Department, Colonel Fadi Hijazi, participated in the meeting of the Special Committee to Monitor Encroachments on Electricity and Water Networks, held today, Sunday, at the headquarters of the Palestinian Energy and Natural Resources Authority in Ramallah.
The meeting was attended by Eng. Ayman Ismail, Chairman of the Palestinian Energy and Natural Resources Authority, and representatives from the Preventive Security, the Police, and the Operations Unit of the Ministry of Interior.
This meeting was held within the framework of intensifying joint efforts and discussing ways to cooperate to confront the increasing encroachments on electricity and water networks, which negatively impact the efficiency of services provided to citizens. The committee also reviewed the achievements made on the ground since the committee's formation.
In turn, Eng. Ismail praised the committee's efforts to curb this phenomenon, stressing the need for integrated efforts among relevant authorities to confront this phenomenon, which affects economic and service security.
