Ramallah - July 22, 2025 Based on information, the Customs Police seized a truck loaded with 29 tons of onions in Tubas Governorate today, Tuesday, coming from Israel. The onions were banned from circulation in the Palestinian market due to their restriction by a decision from the Ministry of Agriculture, with the aim of supporting local production.
After summoning the competent authority at the Ministry of Agriculture, the matter was confiscated and the case was referred to the Economic Crimes Prosecution Office to complete the necessary legal procedures.
