Ramallah_24/7/2025 Based on information, the Customs Control Department, in cooperation with the competent authority at the Ministry of National Economy, seized today, Thursday, in the Hebron Governorate, approximately (1) ton of laundry detergent and energy drinks that violated mandatory technical instructions. This was due to the lack of an Arabic label detailing all essential information, such as (shelf life, country of origin, ingredients, storage method, product name, etc.).
Given this, the competent authority decided to seize the quantity pending the completion of the necessary legal procedures in accordance with the rules.
Separately, based on information, the Customs Control Department, in cooperation with the competent authority at the Ministry of National Economy, seized today, Thursday, in the Hebron Governorate, more than a quarter ton of dates unfit for human consumption due to their expiration date, as consuming them would pose significant health risks to consumers. Accordingly, the competent authorities decided to destroy the seized quantity in a safe and healthy manner and to complete the legal procedures accordingly.
