Ramallah - August 9, 2025. During inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authorities at the Ministry of Health, seized more than a quarter ton of food unfit for consumption today, Saturday, in Ramallah and Al-Bireh. This was due to the expiration date, as consuming and using the food could pose significant health risks to consumers. Therefore, the competent authorities decided to destroy the quantity in a safe and healthy manner and complete the legal procedures accordingly.
