Ramallah - August 11, 2025 - The Director of the Customs Police Department in Bethlehem Governorate, Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Karim Basaytah, participated today, Monday, in welcoming the Director General of the Political and National Guidance Authority and Spokesperson for the Palestinian Security Services, Major General Anwar Rajab. The meeting was attended by the Governor of Bethlehem, Muhammad Taha; the Commander of the Bethlehem District, Colonel Ibrahim Abu Kishk; and the directors of the security establishment in the governorate.
During the visit, Major General Rajab delivered a central lecture to members of the security establishment in the Martyr Jamal Odeh Hall, addressing the current situation. He emphasized that the security services are fulfilling their national duty in protecting citizens and maintaining security, and represent the first line of defense for societal stability. In conclusion, Major General Rajab listened to the attendees' contributions on issues affecting citizens' lives, within the framework of strengthening cooperation between official institutions and the community.
