Ramallah - August 24, 2025. During inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authorities in the Jenin Municipality Health Department - Food Control Department and the Ministry of Agriculture, seized 6 tons of fruit (pineapples) unfit for human consumption today, Sunday, in Jenin. The fruit showed signs of spoilage, as consuming it could pose significant health risks to consumers. Therefore, the competent authorities decided to destroy the quantity in a safe and healthy manner and complete the legal procedures accordingly.
