Ramallah_August 28, 2025 During inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authority at the Ministry of National Economy, seized approximately 150 kg of food unfit for consumption today, Thursday, in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate. This was due to the expiration date, as consuming it could pose significant health risks to consumers.
Given this, the competent authority decided to destroy the quantity in a safe and healthy manner and complete the legal procedures accordingly.
