Ramallah - September 1, 2025. Based on information and field monitoring, the Customs Police seized two trucks today, Monday, carrying approximately 20 tons of construction waste coming from Israel, intended to be buried on citizens' land in Qalqilya Governorate. This waste is considered hazardous to the Palestinian environment.
After summoning the competent authority at the Environmental Quality Authority, it was decided to return the seized materials to their source in accordance with international agreements and complete the necessary legal procedures.
