Ramallah, September 5, 2025. The Customs Police Department, represented by the Director of the Border Crossings Department, Lieutenant Colonel Huthaifa Shtayyeh, and the accompanying delegation, participated in a training workshop in the Republic of Bulgaria. The workshop was organized by the General Authority for Borders and Crossings, as part of enhancing international cooperation and exchanging expertise to develop customs work and protect the national economy.
The workshop addressed various topics related to border crossing management, control mechanisms, and procedures used to facilitate the movement of goods and passengers. It also included field visits to several border crossings between Bulgaria and Turkey, and between Bulgaria and the Republic of Macedonia, with the aim of learning about operating systems and international experiences, thus contributing to enhancing the efficiency of Palestinian Customs Police personnel.
