Ramallah_10/9/2025 During inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authorities at the Ministry of Health, seized 70 tons of food, juices, and mineral water unfit for human consumption today, Wednesday, in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate. The seized items were due to the expiration of some of them, while others had been exposed to direct sunlight, posing a significant health risk to consumers.
In view of this, the competent authorities at the Ministry of Health decided to destroy the seized quantities in a safe and healthy manner, and to complete the necessary legal procedures.
