Ramallah - September 16, 2025 - The Customs Department, in cooperation with the competent authority in the Health Directorate, suspended a restaurant today, Tuesday, during an inspection tour of shops and markets in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate. The restaurant was suspended due to its lack of required health and environmental conditions. A quantity of food unfit for human consumption was seized inside.
The competent authority decided to destroy the aforementioned quantity, suspend the restaurant, and refer the case to the Economic Crimes Prosecution Office to complete the necessary legal procedures according to the proper procedures.
