Settlement-Produced Home Furniture Seized in Jericho Governorate

Ramallah_September 17, 2025 After meticulous intelligence efforts and diligent field monitoring, the Customs Police seized, at dawn today, Wednesday, in the Jericho Governorate, a truck bearing an Israeli license plate loaded with home furniture and furnishings produced in a settlement west of the Salfit Governorate.
After summoning the competent authority in the Consumer Protection Department at the Ministry of National Economy, the seized quantity was confiscated and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution - Economic Crimes Prosecution to complete the necessary legal procedures according to the proper procedures.
The Customs Police also calls on our fellow citizens not to trade in settlement goods, as this constitutes a violation of the law and exposes those who trade in such goods to legal accountability.
