Ramallah - September 20, 2025. The Customs Department, in cooperation with the competent authorities at the Ministry of Health, suspended a bakery today, Saturday, during an inspection tour of shops and markets in Ramallah and Al-Bireh. The bakery was suspended due to its lack of required health and environmental conditions. 304 kilograms of food unfit for human consumption were seized inside.
The competent authorities decided to destroy the aforementioned quantity, suspend the bakery, and refer the case to the Anti-Economic Crimes Prosecution to complete the necessary legal procedures.
