Ramallah - September 23, 2025. As part of its efforts to raise awareness of the role of the Customs Police in protecting the national economy, the Public Relations and Media Department of the Customs Police organized an awareness meeting for participants in the Palestinian National Council, affiliated with the Higher Council for Youth and Sports, on Tuesday in Ramallah and Al-Bireh.
The meeting included a presentation on the Customs Police's duties in combating smuggling and protecting markets, as well as enhancing communication with citizens to report any illegal commercial activities. The importance of cooperation between the Customs Police and the local community was emphasized, while discussing ways to raise awareness so that individuals can be active partners in protecting the national economy.
At the conclusion of the meeting, participants were taken on a field trip to the checkpoints operating in the city, where they were briefed on the field efforts of the Customs Police, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the achievements it makes to protect society.
