Ramallah _ 10/10/2022 The Director of the Department of Public Relations and Information in the Customs Police, Colonel Ibrahim Ayyash, and in the presence of the Director of the Directorate of Customs Control in Jericho, Major Tariq Wahish, and the accompanying delegation, held a working meeting today, Monday in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, with the commander of the area Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Colonel/ Raed Douglas; To discuss joint cooperation, coordination and development of relations.
In addition, a meeting was held with the Military Deputy Brigadier General / Salman Abdullah, and the Department of Media and Relations represented by the Assistant to the President for Communication Affairs A. Alaa Al-Shanti, at Al-Istiqlal Military University. During the meeting, Colonel Ayyash expressed his happiness at visiting this great scientific edifice, as it is an essential tributary of the security sector, and his aspiration to open new horizons for future cooperation, in light of the existence of a joint accredited program "Customs Science Diploma", through Implementation of guidance activities and introductory lectures on the nature of the device, and the laws on which it is based, in order to prepare and qualify students to engage in the field of work.
In this context, a meeting was held with the General Administration of Public Affairs in the governorate of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, represented by its director, a. Sabah Abu Rashid; To discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation.
A meeting was also held with the Mayor of Jericho, Mr. Abdul Karim Sidr; This meeting comes within the framework of communication with all state institutions and with the aim of enhancing joint cooperation, as many topics of interest to citizens and touching their daily lives were discussed.
At the end of the working meetings, Colonel Ayyash gave the Agricultural Relief Training Center for Newly Graduated Agricultural Engineers “Course No. 35” an introductory lecture on the nature of the work of the customs police and its role in protecting the national economy and combating smuggling, in the presence of the director of the center, Mr. Ikrima Adas.
