Ramallah - September 27, 2025. During inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authority in the Jenin Municipality Health Department - Food Control Department, seized approximately 670 kg of unfit food and fruit in Jenin today, Saturday. The unfit food and fruit had expired and showed signs of spoilage. Consuming them could pose significant health risks to consumers.
Given this, the competent authority decided to destroy the unused food in a safe and healthy manner and to complete the necessary legal procedures.
