Ramallah - September 28, 2025. During inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authority in the Jenin Municipality Health Department - Food Control Department, seized approximately 1,200 kg of unfit food and corn in Jenin today, Sunday. The unfit food was expired and showed signs of spoilage. Consuming it could pose significant health risks to consumers.
Given this, the competent authority decided to destroy the unused food in a safe and healthy manner and to complete the necessary legal procedures.
