Ramallah - October 7, 2025 - During a routine patrol, customs officers seized a truck coming from Israel bearing an Israeli license plate in the Qalqilya Governorate in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The truck was loaded with 15 tons of onions, prohibited from entering the Palestinian market by a decision of the Ministry of Agriculture (restricted goods), with the aim of supporting local agricultural production.
The seized items were handed over to the competent authorities at the Ministry of Agriculture to complete the necessary legal procedures.
