Ramallah - October 13, 2025. During inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the competent authority in the Jenin Municipality Health Department - Food Control Department, seized a quarter ton of dates unfit for consumption today, Monday, in Jenin. The shipment showed signs of spoilage, as consuming it could pose significant health risks to consumers.
Given this, the competent authority decided to destroy the quantity in a safe and healthy manner and complete the legal procedures accordingly.
