Ramallah - October 16, 2025 During inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the relevant authorities at the Ministry of National Economy and the Food Control Department of the Jenin Municipality, seized approximately 170 kg of unfit food items in Jenin Governorate today, Thursday, due to their expiration date. Consuming them could pose significant health risks to consumers.
Given this, the relevant authorities decided to destroy the unfit food items in a safe and healthy manner and to complete the necessary legal procedures.
