Ramallah - October 20, 2025. During a joint security operation and as part of ongoing efforts to maintain and protect the Palestinian market, Customs Police and Preventive Security forces seized a workshop in Nablus today, Monday, inside a warehouse. The workshop was drying and packaging Arabic tobacco and counterfeiting its packaging to sell it as imported tobacco. The operation resulted in the seizure of four packaging machines, in addition to 115 kilograms of chopped Arabic tobacco (halal), 5.25 kilograms of halal cigarettes, 3,020 ready-made packs, and several tools used in the packaging process. The case has been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal action against those involved, according to the appropriate procedures.
