Ramallah - October 21, 2025. During field monitoring and surveillance to combat smuggling operations, the Customs Police seized, at dawn today, Tuesday, in Qalqilya Governorate, a truck loaded with 30 tons of construction waste and soil coming from Israel, intended to be buried on citizens' lands in the Qalqilya Governorate. This waste is considered hazardous to the Palestinian environment.
The seized items were kept in custody pending the arrival of the competent authority at the Environmental Quality Authority to return them to their source in accordance with international agreements and complete the legal procedures.
