Ramallah – November 12, 2025: The Customs Police participated today, Wednesday, in an inspection tour of Bethlehem as part of the city's preparations to welcome tourists again after their absence during the recent war. This tour was part of the preparations for the Christmas celebrations and the lighting of the Christmas tree.

The tour was conducted in the presence of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Mr. Hani Al-Hayek, the Governor of Bethlehem, Mr. Muhammad Taha, the Mayor of Bethlehem, Mr. Maher Al-Qanawati, as well as directors and representatives of the security establishment.

The tour included visits to the city's traditional market, the Church of the Nativity, and a number of oriental souvenir shops and local businesses to assess their readiness to receive visitors during the upcoming tourist season.
