Ramallah - 7/12/2025 Based on information received, the Customs Police seized approximately 850 kilograms of food unfit for human consumption from a shop in Nablus on Sunday. The food had expired.
The relevant authorities from the Ministries of National Economy and Industry were summoned and ordered the destruction of the seized quantity.
In a separate incident, the Customs Police, while operating at a checkpoint, seized a truck carrying four tons of fruit without an agricultural transport permit. They also seized 300 kilograms of adulterated and unfit olive oil from a shop. The relevant authorities from the Ministry of Agriculture were summoned and ordered the impounding of the seized goods pending completion of the necessary legal procedures.
