Ramallah, January 1, 2026 – The Customs Police participated today, Thursday, in the ceremonies commemorating the 61st anniversary of the launch of the modern Palestinian revolution and the founding of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah). They laid a wreath at the tomb of the late leader Yasser Arafat at the Presidential Headquarters in Ramallah.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy President Hussein al-Sheikh, representing President Mahmoud Abbas, as well as the Speaker of the Palestinian National Council, Rouhi Fattouh, Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa, several government ministers, members of the Fatah Central Committee and Executive Committee, members of the Revolutionary Council, and leaders and representatives of the security establishment and official institutions. Wreaths were laid at the tomb of the late leader Yasser Arafat, and prayers were recited for his soul and the souls of all the martyrs of the Palestinian revolution.
