Ramallah - January 1, 2026: During inspection tours of shops and markets, the Customs Police and Preventive Security, in cooperation with the Jenin Municipality's Food Control Department, seized nearly 600 kg of vegetables (carrots) unfit for human consumption in Jenin on Thursday. The vegetables showed signs of spoilage and decay, and consuming them could pose significant health risks to consumers.
Consequently, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the entire quantity using safe and hygienic methods and the completion of all necessary legal procedures.
