Ramallah – January 4, 2026: Customs officers, while operating at a checkpoint in Bethlehem Governorate on Sunday, seized a truck coming from Israel loaded with 250 used car tires, which are considered hazardous waste to the environment.

After summoning the relevant department at the Environmental Quality Authority, it was decided to return the seized tires to their source and complete the necessary legal procedures.
