Ramallah – January 12, 2026 The Director of the Customs Police in Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Lieutenant Colonel Saed Jibril, met today, Monday, with the Governor of Jericho and the Jordan Valley, Dr. Hussein Hamayel, at the Governorate headquarters.

During the meeting, the Governor praised the significant national role played by the Customs Police in combating counterfeit and illegal goods and confronting smuggled materials, emphasizing that these efforts contribute to protecting public health and strengthening the foundations of the national economy.

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Jibril conveyed to the Governor the greetings of the Commander of the Customs Police, Major General Iyad Barakat, commending the Governor's efforts in serving the people of the governorate and developing joint work between institutions.
