Ramallah – January 20, 2026 – Based on intelligence, the Customs Police, in cooperation with the relevant department at the Ministry of National Economy, seized over 1.5 tons of canned food unfit for human consumption today, Tuesday, in a warehouse in Jenin Governorate. The food had spoiled due to improper storage, resulting in visible signs of spoilage. Consuming this food could pose significant health risks to citizens.

Consequently, the relevant authorities ordered the destruction of the seized quantity using safe and hygienic methods and the completion of all necessary legal procedures.
